A lone presence was felt upon the virgin sands as the mahogany-stained hellion pierced the granules with his fine daggers. A delicate, finely-bred cranium sat regally upon the arched boa of the insurgent. Beads of oceanic aqua clung to his lustrous pelt, lending a burnt tint to his slender chassis, and a fire-hardened look to his canons.
Finding that his colourful speech would mar the silence, he let only a melodious cry escape his channels. The exaggerated curve of his harks swivelled to cup any returning sound waves, but the only waves he yet caught were those provenant of the salted body yonder.

She wasapon the terra this day, Hope was. She was thoroughly disgusted with the balmy weather. She snorted, becoming quickly angry. She took her anger out on a nearby palm bush, shredding it to peices. Corrupt, her mind was... Just then, she caught the scent of the stallion... How dare he make his opresance known to her! She screamed out with rage, the demonic and venomous cry heard 'round the lands.

His melody recurrent, he threw a haunted air into his tones. The air was laden with his tortured song and his salted stench. The wrath of the angered ess did not daunt him in the least, and, seeming to feed off of the humid weather that so bothered her, he drew nearer. His every move was like a step in a deadly dance, cold and calculated. He rose in a wild rear, the bunched muscles of his hindquarters bearing his fine chassis skyward with no great effort. The ensuing screech was to frighten the faint of heart from his presence, and as his foredaggers regained the granulated soil, he met the ebon ess with a challenging stare, daring her to flee from him.

((ooc: I do not want to fight her...Not yet. )) Spotting the stag approaching her, she watched his actions, becoming enraged. She over spoke her rage, orbs seeming to glare ruby. He though he could scare her? What a laugh. If he wanted to fight, let it be. ((ooc: But don't... Please.))

He broke the crest of a dune, orbs panning for the one who had returned his call. The obsidian silhouette of the femora reached his retinas.
Having no want for a quarrel with a faen, he snorted and turned away. His blackened columns proceeded to carry him back down the dune from whence he'd ascnended, but he stayed his motion and swung his dished profile to observe the ess again.

He tossed his dial with bemusement, fine pillars springing up from the ground and carrying him in a sprightly circle. His expression changed to one of confusion, for he did not understand how he had come to anger this ess. The inquiry showed on his chiseled visage, but no vocalization came forth.

Ah, the silence stood apon the femora, as well. She picked up her obsidion daggers, heading in the opposite direction of him. This was unlike her... Usually she was one to stay and fight. But something about this stallion was different... SNAP OUT OF IT! What are you saying? Are you loosing your mind? The voice was loud and clear within her mind, and it changed her thinking.

He took a step in her direction without knowing why. He felt somehow like he'd gained the upper hand in some unfair fashion. He chewed absently on a strand of his raven veil, the ends of which hung in great long spikes from having dried like that so often. His great scorched pillars refused movement, and he stood there, unblinking voids tracing her departure.

Not a movement was shown that she cared still, yet she still felt... No. It was not here. She was going insane.

He let his breath out slowly, unaware that he'd been holding it. His nares trembled as the gust passed through them. He took a step in the faen's direction, feeling a certain weakness in his limbs that he did not attribute to fear. What was wrong with him? Why the hesitation? He partially raised the veil that had always hidden his inner self from the world, trying to see the ess with his own eyes. But still he hesitated.

She looked up at him. Was he alright? She did not know him one bit, but she knew he was acting strange. She moved away a bit further, slightly teasing him. Yes, she knew now. She was a mare, her was a stallion. It was a natural thing. But to her, it was a way to have fun with him, to tease him. She smiled wickedly.

He gathered his wits again, reminding himself that he did not need to fear the repercussions of his actions. The sea would always welcome him back... or would it? He took another step towards the ess, his orbs trained on hers for any sign of her motives.

She triple-beated towards him quickly, then stopped a few feet away from him. Ah, she loved to be such a tease.

His chiseled face angled sideways, his pillars commenced a lateral movement in her direction, halting with his chassis a hair's breadth from hers. An inquiring, falsely innocent smirk lay upon his artistically arranged features as the single void closest to her gave her a sidelong look.
