The tawny fea trotted gaily through the sand. She tossed her head to show her excitement.Dorada looked at her beloved leader through her warm brown eyes.

He loosed his long dark cascade with a gleeful buck, his blatant joy uncharacteristic of himself but likely to grow more frequent with the doting of his new maiden. His orbs of deep mahogany glittered with the sun's rejoicing, its gentle rays reflecting off the gleaming aqua and dancing across his pelt.

She nipped his flank playfully and galloped a few strides. She turned to see if Leviathan would chase her.

His powerful pillars gathered beneath him and he sprang forward in pursuit, loosing a gentle melody to the heavens. He thrilled to bask in the presence of his first faen, but he also longed to introduce her to the orphan filla he had so recently taken under his wing. Thus far the two were the only ones to have witnessed his merciful Light side.

ooc: I like your new poem Her strides lengthened as she saw the stud race to pursue her.Her nostrils twitched when she scented another life.Confused, she slid to a stop and turned to face her mate. Her eyes were large and inquisitive as she asked Lord Leviathan,is there another horse that resides here?

(Thanx, I got too used to the old one and it's on the pic anyway, so I decided to add a new one to add more description!) (Hope you don't mind the spazzes of Darkness I get into sometimes. Lol.)
He dropped his level-backed quarters and slid in the dirt, coming to a halt beside his love. Ah yes, he would have to explain. This would require another carefully-constructed masterpiece of verbage. His larynx trembled in the moments before the actual sound was released from his skillfully crafted chords.
Besides you and I another equid resides here, An orphan of the sea, her parents perished I fear. The deeps spat her on shore, a scraggly young thing, Alone she would die, so I took her under my wing.
He allowed a small grin to display itself upon his princely features, guessing that his uncharacteristic compassion would please her. Turning over a halved coconut shell, he displayed the ingenuity that had allowed a previously lone stag to nurse the filla back from her deathbed.

Dorada simply smiled at Leviathan. His kindness was amazing. She had never thought a stud would find it in his heart to take in a foal that he hadn't sired.

Since often his cursed beating organ seemed blacker than the dark side of the moon, it had shocked him as well when he had not even driven the filla from his lands to die elsewhere. What had caused him to shelter the tiny creature? Perhaps the tiresome loneliness of his lifelong travels had begun to weaken the resolve of his Darkness. His Light side reared its temperate head more often of late.

He threw his fine profile back, rearing high, perfectly balanced on his powerful hind canons. From his throat issued a beckoning call, lighter than his others vocalizations and unthreatening. He fell back to all fours, his orbs searching the nearby groves of palms for the appearance of the filla. His harks flicked forth and back, awaiting her shrill reply.

From her hiding place, Plymouth's head perked as she heard Levy's call. Sheansered it with her own, high-pitched melody, and she stood, racing to him. She came to the field, and spotted him. Who was this other horse? She halted for a moment, taking in her landscape before racing out to greet him. She stood close to the stallion, looking to Dorada with wearieness.

He nuzzled the shy filla gently, coaxing her into the open. In a single stride he rejoined Dorada's side, a smile adorning his raven velvet. He did not wish the filla to be fearful of the golden faen, and hoped they would get along well. He was acutely aware of the young one's wariness, and beckoned her closer with a reassuring whicker.

She stood there as Leviathan stepped away from her, towards the unfamiliar femme. Still quite shy, she reached her nape out to him, yet not moving. She looked to Dorada, then whispered, Hello...? She was unsure about her... Yet, she would be. Dorada was unfamiliar, of corse.

The tawny fea smiled and her soft chocolate orbs scanned the filly.Dorada reached out to the filly with her muzzle and said Greetings little one.My name is Dorada, what is yours?"

She neared her a bit, quieted by Dorada's gentle voice. I'm Plymouth. She still somewhat hesitated, yet stepped foward. She reached out with her own muzzle and touched the femme's. It tickled, and she backed up, snorting away a sneeze.
