Is it a mirage or not?

He smiled at thetwo faen as the all approached the water. He awaited them to drink first, then allowed himself.

Om only took a few small gulps before going to graze next to the water.

Kali drank some water and then walked next to Om and grazed beside her.

After Kali had finished, he dipped his ashen mug into the water, gulping it down as if he had never had any before. He was greatly parched, and, when he finished a few moments later, he lay down across the grass that shot through the sand. He had made himself sick by drinking to fast. But he would be better in a few minutes. He looked at the faen and smiled at them, but no words were given.

Om looked over at the stallion. do you think he is ok? she asked Kali

Hearing her soft words, he answered her question.

Ah, milady, I apologize for answering when the question was not directed towards me... But I shall be alright. I had a little too much to drink.

He nodded to Om, then stood.

He stood next to the two, barrel still aching a bit. Yet he managed to begin to graze.

Kali looked up at him. Im glad your feeling better She then resumed her grazing.

Om let her eyes linger on the stallion before returning to graze.

He knew of nothing else to say. He caught Om's eye, but looked away quickly.

Kali raised her head to look at each of them for a moment, but then a genlty breeze began to blow and she looked away.

Om grazed silently. She never knew what to say when around other horses.

[Alto]

He grazed silently, and looked at the two faen that grazed with him. He knew them only by name, and nothing else, but felt he had known them forever. 'Twas confusing to him. He nipped at a bothersome fly that buzzed around his flanks, then returned to grazing.

Kali was glad to have made friends, she felt better than she ever had in her life. She stared off in space for a while reflecting of her feelings of happiness. She nickered quietly to them both and then went back to grazing.
